I had a dream last week (3-18-20) I want to share with you. In my dream I encouraged friends and family members to detox from fear and to be careful of what they are taking in. Our guts have to digest everything we are feeding them – the good and the bad – and it influences our health. When we do a detox or “bowel cleanse,” we stop eating certain foods, go on a fast and then start drinking Epsom salt with water to cleanse our guts.

Spiritually speaking, with what are we feeding ourselves? What’s unhealthy? What makes us sick? Is there anything we should stop doing? Is there anything we should get rid of? Our bodies react to toxic thinking. We can’t control the circumstances and events of life. But we can control our reactions. We have a choice. We can be happy and filled with peace regardless of our circumstances.

The Bible insistently demands in Proverbs 4:23, “ABOVE ALL ELSE guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it!” The German translation says, “above all else guard your thoughts and emotions for they will determine your life!”

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8) Make this truth your life choice.

It is important for us as Christians not to pray from a ground perspective, but to pray with Jesus from heavenly places. What’s the bigger picture? At the moment the Corona-word has presence everywhere, in my opinion too much. Would it be healthy to watch the news only once a day and instead fill our houses with worship?! What has my attention? What’s determining my focus and my ability to judge? Am I driven by fear? For us as Christians it’s important not just to react to circumstances in prayer, but to set the tone. We have to pray from heaven’s perspective, pray prophetically, and look further than our present situation. Let’s see what God is seeing. Jesus is inviting us to sit on His lap! How do we enter heaven? With worship and praise!

Diseases never come from God. He is the healer and can’t contradict himself. When we face difficulties, He is at our side. He wants to come closer and wants us to get to know Him better and become stronger. He trades ashes for beauty (Isaiah 61:3).

Dream with God and pray what you are seeing into existence! Ezekiel saw dry bones – God had a wonderful plan! How about seeing families restored and people entering into rest? What about friends, families, neighbors and work colleagues encountering Jesus at night in dreams, through music or while they are talking to us? We are in a special time of tension. Let’s use our time wisely and not be distracted. Let’s train our faith muscles (Romans 5:3-4). Time is precious!

No to fear. Give it to Jesus and ask Him what He wants to give you in return.

In my dream the people were more than ready to start the detox right away. They drank more of the Epsom salt water than was necessary (cleansing through the word of God, Ephesians 5:26). They wanted to be holy and pure before Jesus. They were not afraid of eliminating everything AND there was enough toilet paper for everyone! 😉

May these days be holy, intimate and heartfelt. The Prince of Peace shall reign in our lives. Let’s be glad and rejoice in Him. This is a time of closeness, strengthening and preparation. I keep hearing the word ANCHOR! Jesus is our ANCHOR in these wild and stormy times! Be blessed! I love you all!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future!” Jeremiah 29:11

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!” Romans 15:13
